WARM UP QUESTION
For those who are married in the group, share some details that you remember about your wedding? What was the anticipation and excitement like in preparation for your wedding? [Today we are going to study Revelation 19-20, where we see the picture of Jesus as the bridegroom coming for his bride.]

HEAD: These questions help us examine the Word.
1. Read Revelation 19-20. What themes do you see here that have been repeated before in Revelation?
2. Discuss the differences between Jesus’ first and second comings. Why did he not come in majesty and power the first time?
3. Can Revelation be used to support the claim of that hell is not eternal? How does this passage speak to the issue?
4. Is it just for God to punish someone (even Satan!) for eternity? Why?

HEART: These questions help us wrestle with what we believe.
5. This passage describes Jesus as the bridegroom and the church as His bride who is preparing for His coming. What are some of the attitudes and behaviors of a bride who is preparing for their wedding?
6. Which of these attitudes and behaviors do you think you are called to emulate as a follower of Jesus who is part of the Bride of Jesus?

HAND: These questions help us bring truth and beliefs into our everyday life.
7. What do you think would change practically in your life if you saw your life as a time of preparation for the coming of Jesus?
