God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. —Ephesians 2:8-9
“No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. —Matthew 6:24
Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor
and gave him the name above all other names,
10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father. —Philippians 2:9-11 (NLT)
If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. —Romans 10:9 (NLT)
Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see. —Hebrews 11:1 (NLT)
How much more do I need to say? It would take too long to recount the stories of the faith of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, and all the prophets. 33By faith these people overthrew kingdoms, ruled with justice, and received what God had promised them. They shut the mouths of lions, 34quenched the flames of fire, and escaped death by the edge of the sword. Their weakness was turned to strength. They became strong in battle and put whole armies to flight. —Hebrews 11:32-34 (NLT)
1.) Would you really believe that God would want to use you in HIS story???
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. 2We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith.
Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. —Hebrews 12:1-2 (NLT)
2.) Are you content with the role you get to play?
Wheelhouse - Where our passions and giftings intersect.
3.) Is there anything within you that desires the lead role?
When we are content to play the role God has for us:
• God will give us vision.
• We will feel present with Him.
• We will experience life abundant.
