Flow naturally transforms a weakling into a muscleman, a sketcher into an artist, a dancer into a ballerina, a plodder into a sprinter, and an ordinary person into someone extraordinary. Flow is the doorway to the ‘more’ most of us seek.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. —Romans 15:13 NIV

HOLY SPIRIT —> HOPE—> PEACE AND JOY!

Resisting the Spirit

“You stiff-necked people! Your hearts and ears are still uncircumcised. You are just like your ancestors: You always resist the Holy Spirit! —Acts 7:51 NIV

To resist means: to run against, to be adverse, oppose, strive against.

Grieving the Spirit

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. —Ephesians 4:30-32 NIV

To grieve means: to make sorrowful, to affect with sadness, cause grief, to offend
us until we come in repentance.

Quenching the Spirit

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit. —1 Thessalonians 5:16-19 NIV

To quench means: to extinguish, to suppress, stifle divine influence.

So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. —Galatians 5:16 NIV

Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit… —Ephesians 5:18 NIV

Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. —Galatians 5:25 NIV

If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” —Luke 11:13 NIV

Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.” —Acts 2:38-39 NIV

I love what D.L. Moody says…
He [the Holy Spirit] imparts hope; a man filled with the Spirit of God will be very hopeful. He will be looking out into the future, and he knows that it is all bright, because the God of all grace is able to do great things. So it is very important that we have hope.
