Matthew 1:20-23 (ESV) 20 But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21 She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” 22 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: 23 “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us).
One of the worst feelings in the world is waiting. Especially hard when you are waiting on God for something.
Isaiah 7:14 (ESV) Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Just becaue God is silent doesnt mean God is absent.
*Galatians 4:4-5 (ESV)* 4 But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons.
Romans 5:6 (ESV) For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
Isaiah 64:4 (ESV) From of old no one has heard or perceived by the ear, no eye has seen a God besides you, who acts for those who wait for him.
2 Peter 3:9 (ESV) The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
