GOD’S TOMORROW IS GUARANTEED TO THE ONE WHO PREPARES TODAY.

2-4 After three days, leaders went through the camp and gave out orders to the people: “When you see the Ark of the Covenant carried by the Levitical priests, start moving. Follow it and you’ll see clearly the route to take. You’ve never been on this road before.”5 Then Joshua addressed the people: “Today sanctify yourselves. Tomorrow God will work miracle-wonders among you.” —Joshua 3:2-5 (TMB)

KEY: Sanctification

I remember some years ago God giving me a glimpse of me in a boardroom with some of the most influential people. I shrugged it off and kept going about my business ignoring it. Then I felt the nudge to read certain books, enroll in courses, hire a mentor and I was like “God, listen, my bank account is not in agreement with what you are telling me to do” I shrugged it off and went about my business.

Then a year passed, a few years passed, and then I was like “So God I am still just here working I ain’t see this boardroom thing happen yet” Then one day a friend called me and said “God told me to tell you, Do what he has told you to and He will provide the provisions” Isn’t that just like God reminding and confirming to you at the same time what He told you to do?

Well, I started for five years. I enrolled in courses, read books, attended conferences, hired a mentor and a coach. Yes, there were many times I had to separate myself for God’s Higher Purpose. Then it happened this year 2023 I got the call to sit in a Boardroom. It was God’s PREPARATION THAT LED TO MY DIRECTION TO THE BOARD ROOM.

In Today’s text Joshua is telling the people of Israel “…You’ve never been on this road before.” 5 Then Joshua addressed the people: “Today sanctify yourselves. Tomorrow God will work miracle-wonders among you.”

Understand this, God had already prepared the way for the Israelites
• But they had to get ready to walk it.
• They had to prepare their minds to receive it
• They had to leave the familiar behind to embrace the new road ahead
• They had to prepare Today for the Tomorrow that was coming.

Remember This: God has prepared the opportunities but YOU have to be sanctified (set aside for God’s Holy purpose) to receive them.

  2. Pray to God and ask Him what’s first in this season that you are to focus on.
  3. Now write down the top three things you can do Today to move you closer to accomplishing that Goal.
