HE SUSTAINS US THROUGH CRAZY FAITH
11 Next to him was Shammah son of Agee the Hararite. When the Philistines banded together at a place where there was a field full of lentils, Israel’s troops fled from them.
12 But Shammah took his stand in the middle of the field. He defended it and struck the Philistines down, and the Lord brought about a great victory. —2 Samuel 23:11 – 12 (NIV)
1. Crazy faith always draws the attention of the enemy.
And after him was Shammah the son of Agee the Hararite. The Philistines had gathered together into a troop… —2 Samuel 23:11a
Troop defined: wild beast, a company, appetite, multitude
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

2. Where there is a harvest there will always be a battle.

4. Crazy faith will find you in the middle of the battle for God’s harvest in your life.
But Shammah took his stand in

5. The weapons to fight for the harvest are God’s weapons, because it’s His promised harvest.
He defended it and struck the Philistines down… —2 Samuel 23:12b

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. —Romans 10:17
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. —Hebrews 11:1
6. Crazy faith brings us to a place of surrender, which is where God gets the victory.

Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it. —Colossians 2:15
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life —John 3:16
