Ephesians 3:20
Our faith is often interrupted by events that, for some, become stumbling blocks but for those of us who put our trust in God become building blocks instead.
The difference is where you place your trust!
Has your faith ever been interrupted by a natural event so large that you can’t imagine how God could possibly ever work this mess into a blessing?
Yes, we are living in one right now!
When you can’t see the answers – that’s when we need faith most.
Sometimes God interrupts the natural just so he can grow your supernatural.
Will this be the moment your faith was broken?
Or the moment in which it was built?
Genesis 2:7
Don’t Get My Dust Up!
Getting your dust up is when you are acting in the flesh, which is from the dust.
Genesis 3:6
Genesis 3:6 was the first interruption. The enemy was trying to snatch Adams dominion through Eve. The devil got her (dust up) and she got Adams dust up. When the smoke cleared that interruption broke our communion with the father in the form of sin.
Every other interruption was so that God could pardon us from the impact of our sinful nature.
Grace is God pardoning us from the interruption of sin.
Psalm 103:1-5
The Syrians were the enemies of Israel and wanted to destroy God’s people.
They made secret plans to attack the Isrealites, but God would tell the prophet Elijah, so Israel was always one step ahead.
Isaiah 54:17
The Syrian King discovered where Elijah was and sent an army of men and chariots to surround his tent that night! Elijah’s servant woke first. He went out of his tent and was horrified and overwhelmed at the odds against them.
Isaiah 59:19
2 Kings 6:16-17
“Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha .
Two different men in the same circumstances with two different faiths
That was a scheduled interruption. That day the enemy was delivered to Israel.
Psalms 23
If we are going to be supernatural, we have got to learn to Trust God in all circumstances.
If we are going to be supernatural, we have got to see the interruptions but believe God anyway
If we are going to be supernatural, we’ve got to see what we see, but trust God for the increase! (Even more)
If we are going to be supernatural, stop acting in the natural, when we have been made supernatural!
Stop giving up life for death!
John 10:10
Who are you going to be, the living or the dead?
Psalm 24:8
If we are going to be supernatural, we have got to keep Jesus in the equation.
When we want to make a #DustyDecisions we don’t consult with God. We may pray, but when we don’t get the answers back that we want, we escort Jesus out of the room.
Revelation 3:15-16
Open your heart today, open it to the life that Jesus is promising all who follow him. Leave that dead weight behind and grow from every interruption.
Hebrews 12:1
