The scriptures we are about to study teach us that we are all connected through the blood of Jesus Christ. Look at what God tells us in this verse:
Acts 20:28
Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
The Bible says that we know we have passed from death unto life if we have a love for one another as brothers and sisters. It is an indicator of our relationship to Christ.
Working together has to be one of our greatest assets within the Body of Christ. Excellent, combined, and quick results happen when we work together.

Paul spends the following thirteen verses talking to Timothy and us about how we are to care for the people of our churches who have no family. There is no better scripture than this one below:

1 Timothy 5:11-16
But the younger widows refuse: for when they have begun to wax wanton against Christ, they will marry; Having damnation, because they have cast off their first faith. And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not. I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully. For some are already turned aside after Satan. If any man or woman that believeth have widows, let them relieve them, and let not the church be charged; that it may relieve them that are widows indeed.
God tells the church widows that they are to:
1. Marry if God had blessed them in such a way.
2. Avoid being lazy.
3. Detest gossiping and causing division.
4. And to take the Gospel into their families.
