Sermon Title: Two ways to live

I. The Scriptural landscape.

II. The Cultural landscape
1. Sex has been disconnected from childbearing and family.
2. Sex has been disconnected from marriage.
3. Sex has been disconnected from a male/female relationship.
4. Sex has been disconnected from love, emotional and relational commitment of any kind.
5. Sex has become disconnected from people.

III. A theological framework for human sexuality
1. Human beings are made in the image of God.
2. Our humanity is good but we are bent.
3. Male/female sexuality is designed by God
4.You cannot separate design from function.
5. Sex isn’t just recreation or for procreation. It’s also a union of the soul.
