1. Read vv. 14-22. Describe the behavior Paul exhorts the believers to avoid. Have you ever had a spiritual example lead you down the wrong path? What did God teach you through this experience?
2. Read vv. 23-30. Paul presents a hypothetical situation to help the believers know what he would do if there was meat sacrificed to an idol at a dinner he attended. What is the example he sets for them in this hypothetical scenario?
3. Read vv. 31-33. In these verses Paul sets forth the overarching principle he lives by in his interactions with others. What do you learn from his example?
4. Read 11:1. In following other believers as examples, no one will ever be a perfect example. Our only perfect example is Jesus. How can we follow the examples God provides in spiritual leaders without losing sight of Jesus?
