For strength in an uncertain future, remember God is…

How can I experience God’s power in the New Year?

For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7
DAILY MEDITATION
Read through some or all of these verse about God’s power each day this week and consider these three questions:
- How can remembering verses about God’s power give you strength in the new year?
- In this new year, what will be your daily strategy for meditation on God’s power?
- In this new year, how can you act in God’s power to be a conduit of His strength to those who need it? What might hinder you? How will you overcome that obstacle?
Father to the fatherless, defender of widows—this is God, whose dwelling is holy. God places the lonely in families; he sets the prisoners free and gives them joy. Psalm 68:5-6a
Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; His greatness no one can fathom… The LORD is good to all; He has compassion on all he has made. Psalm 145:3,9
