Just Do It - I’m Supposed to Submit to Who?
Next Steps
James 4
Message Summary
There are reasons that we make the decisions we do. We have motivations that drive us. These motivations, whether we realize them or not, factor into our decisions and help dictate our actions. Sometimes our motivations are good, other times they are not as pure as we may think they are. This week, we examined how our selfish desires derail us in our attempt to follow Christ and learned how to submit ourselves to Jesus.
1) What are ways that we, as human beings, tend to act out our selfish desires? Why do you think we do so?
2) Where have you experienced the effects of someone’s selfish choices? How did they impact you?
Consider This
