A Time of Reflection and Rededication
6 Questions to Reflect Upon for the New Year
Pastor Nathan Robinson

As we move into the new year, it is a great time to reflect on the past and look forward to the future. Make sure that you have your priorities straight:

  1. God
  2. Marriage
  3. Kids
  4. Work/School

Next, take some time to think about the questions below. You can write them out with a pen and paper, or you can answer them here by clicking on the blue box below each question and typing in your response.

1. How is my spiritual life?

Does my day begin with prayer? Am I in the Word daily? Am I growing in my faith? Is God pleased with how I’m living?

2. How is my physical health?

Am I eating healthy? Am I exercising? What changes can I realistically commit to in order to improve my health?

3. How is my family situation?

How is my marriage? Am I spending quality time with my spouse? How are my kids? Do I pray for my family? Am I setting a good example for my family?

4. How is work/school?

Am I giving God my best effort in my job? Is there anyone I’m praying for or ministering to?

5. How am I doing financially?

Am I applying biblical principles to my financial life? Am I getting out of debt? Am I tithing regularly? Am I being generous with what God has given me?

6. Am I serving the Lord?

Am I useable by the Lord at home, church, work, etc.? Do I know my calling?
