
Galatians 5:22–23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
Have you ever seen someone with great strength choose not to use it? Maybe a parent disciplining a child with a calm word instead of a raised hand, or a leader responding to criticism with grace instead of anger. That’s gentleness—strength under control. Many people assume gentleness is weakness, but it is not. The Christian life is to be marked by gentleness.
This powerful trait reflects Christ’s character and transforms our relationships.
