Jesus is our



Matthew 24:42–44 (NIV) “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

If Jesus never becomes our King, He can never have been Savior, Sanctifier or Healer.

JESUS IS OUR COMING KING MEANS

We also know we do not know Jesus’ return will happen.

Mark 13:32–33 (NIV) “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come.

2 Timothy 4:7–8 (NIV) — I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
