NC clearly teaches complete forgiveness of sins is a gift… yet many churches still put emphasis on things you have to do in order to be forgiven or stay forgiven…

God’s forgiveness is a gift only received by faith… nothing you have to do to get Him to forgive you… simply repent (change mind) and accept the free gift…

Ministry is not when you do for others what they should do for themselves. That’s called co-dependency. Ministers fall into this trap all the time… often thru unrealistic perspectives of the role of a pastor. If they won’t let Jesus help them, what makes you think you can. —Clint Byars
