For the Earth
Psalm 104

This Psalm is a about all creation (v. 34)

1

: “May the Lord rejoice in his works” (v. 31b)

• Garment (v. 2)
• Chambers (v. 3a)
• Chariot (v. 3b)

2

: “Let the wicked be no more” (v. 35)

3

: “Man goes out to his work and to his labor until the evening” (v. 23)

Genesis 9:9–10 (ESV) 9 “Behold, I establish my covenant with you and your offspring after you, 10 and with every living creature that is with you, the birds, the livestock, and every beast of the earth with you, as many as came out of the ark; it is for every beast of the earth.”

Matthew 27:45, 50-51 (ESV) 45 Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour. 50 And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and yielded up his spirit. 51 And behold, the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. And the earth shook, and the rocks were split.

Romans 8:19–22 (ESV) 19 For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now.
