Exalt God
“As the Father has sent Me, I am sending you.” —John 20:21
“The Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” —Luke 19:10
“…tell the Good News to everyone.” —Mark 16:15
1. God sets up divine appointments for every one of us.
Read about the divine appointments
on Straight Street in Acts 9:10-18 and
on the desert road in Acts 8:26-40.
Now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation. —2 Corinthians 6:2
2. See people through God’s eyes.
“You can’t be serious. Everybody’s talking about this man and the terrible things he’s been doing…” “Go! This man is My chosen instrument…” —Acts 9:13,16
ONE ASK AWAY PRINCIPLE
There’s someone in your life who’s one ask away from a life-changing encounter with God’s Son. Invite them to church.
3. Be a witness, not a prosecutor.
“…You will be My witnesses…” —Acts 1:8
If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. —Romans 10:9,10
THE GOSPEL IN SIX SENTENCES
- God created us to be His family.(Isaiah 43:1,4,7,10,11)
- Our sins have separated us from our holy God. (Isaiah 59:2)
- Those sins cannot be removed by our good deeds or any other thing we can do. (Romans 3:10-12,23)
- Jesus lived a perfect human life to become the perfect sacrifice, so that by His resurrection He can now offer us His very own righteousness as a gift. (Romans 3:25,26)
- Everyone who trusts in Him alone has eternal life. (John 3:16; John 14:6)
- Eternal life is supernatural life that begins now and lasts forever. (John 10:28)
