Haggai 2:20-22
20 The word of the Lord came a second time to Haggai on the twenty-fourth day of the month, 21 “Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I am about to shake the heavens and the earth, 22 and to overthrow the throne of kingdoms. I am about to destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the nations, and overthrow the chariots and their riders. And the horses and their riders shall go down, every one by the sword of his brother.

Suggestions:
Memorize 1 Corinthians 15:58 - “Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.”

Meditate daily on a list of future promises that fuel courageous obedience in the present:
1. Christ will return in power and glory
2. We will see Him and marvel
3. He will raise us from the dead
4. We will meet Him in the air
5. We will be like Him
6. He will wipe away every tear from our eyes
7. Death will be no more
8. There will be no more pain or sadness or threates
9. He will crush Satan under our feet
10. He will reign on the earth
11. He will make a new heavens and new earth
12. We will live with Him in a kingdom of justice and peace
13. We will have perfect relationships with other believers
13. We will enjoy His presence forever
