YOUR FAITHFULNESS IN GIVING MATTERS
As we step into this new season together, we’re reminded that every act of faith begins with trust. One way we express our trust in God is through giving our tithes and offerings. When we give, we acknowledge that everything we have comes from Him, and we partner with His work in and through our church. Your faithfulness in giving helps us continue sharing God’s love, serving our community, and stepping boldly into the plans He has for us. Let’s give with hearts full of gratitude and courage, trusting that God will provide for every need.

Preparation is essential in all of life.

60% of Christians feel unequipped to share the Gospel, navigate tough decisions, or discern God’s will.

Early in the morning Joshua and all the Israelites set out from Shittim and went to the Jordan, where they camped before crossing over. After three days the officers went throughout the camp, giving orders to the people: “When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, and the Levitical priests carrying it, you are to move out from your positions and follow it. Then you will know which way to go, since you have never been this way before. But keep a distance of about two thousand cubits between you and the ark; do not go near it.”

Joshua told the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you.”” —Joshua 3:1-5

Joshua is asking the people to align their hearts with God’s purposes—to intentionally make room for God.

SANCTIFICATION is not a ritual. It’s an act of faith. It’s us saying to God: “I’m ready to follow you into the unknown.”

THINK ABOUT IT

Is it more your tendency to depend on God’s strength first, or yours?

Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me and lead me in the way everlasting.” —Psalm 139:24-25

Sanctification is not about perfection; it’s about SURRENDER. We give the invitation, and GOD DOES THE WORK.

SETTING OURSELVES APART FOR GOD

Step 1 | SELF-EXAMINATION

Step 2 | CONFESSION

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. —1 John 1:9

Choose not to carry the weight of guilt. LET GOD TAKE IT.

STEP 3 | DEDICATE that part of your life to God.

When you choose to dedicate your resources, time, and relationships to God, you’re inviting God to take the lead in your life, and to use everything that is within your reach for God’s purposes.

Sanctification isn’t about where we start - it’s about WHERE GOD WANTS TO TAKE US. It’s about surrendering our lives—mess and all—to a God who can redeem even the darkest of stories.

FOR PRAYER AND REFLECTION

What is one area of your life that you feel God is asking you to surrender or “sanctify”?

What distractions or fears might be keeping you from fully trusting God in this season?

How can you create space in your daily life to invite God’s transforming work?

WILL YOU OPEN YOUR HEART TO JESUS TODAY?

Maybe today you’re realizing that you’ve been trying to navigate life on your own, and it’s left you feeling kind of unprepared and overwhelmed. Here’s the good news: God doesn’t expect you to have it all together—He just asks you to make room for Him. If you’ve never opened your heart to Jesus, today is a perfect moment. He’s inviting you into a relationship with Him, one where He does the heavy lifting. All you need to do is take a step of trust and surrender. And if you’re ready to do that, you can pray this simple prayer in your heart:

Jesus, I don’t have everything figured out, but I know I need You. I’m tired of trying to do life on my own. I believe You love me and that You gave Your life to forgive me and make me new. Today, I open my heart to You. Lead me, guide me, and help me trust You as I take this step of faith. Thank You for loving me, just as I am. Amen.

Whether you’re taking your first step of faith or your next one, know that you’re not alone.
God is with you, and so are we!

OUR BENEDICTION (for personal prayer and reflection)

*May the beauty of God be reflected in our eyes,

the love of God be reflected in our hands,

the wisdom of God be reflected in our words,

and the knowledge of God flow from our hearts,

that everyone around us might see and believe.*
