A Gospel-Centered Testimony

Read Galatians 1:11-24

Icebreaker — How do you want to be remembered? Is there a song or story you’d want shared at your memorial?

  1. Reflection: How have you experienced God’s presence and guidance in the last few years?

  2. Transformation: When was the last time you reflected on your personal sinfulness? How would you describe your life before turning to Christ for salvation?

  3. Purpose: How humbling is it to know God sets His love on undeserving people for His purposes? How have you discerned God’s unique gifting in your life?

  4. Influence: Who has God used in your life to mature your faith? Can you identify 2-3 people who are being influenced by you as a result of God’s working in your life? In what ways have you seen results in your life as a result?

  5. Credibility: Have you ever sought honest and constructive feedback from trusted friends or pastors concerning how you are stewarding your faith in God? How might this be an encouragement to your walk with Him?

  6. Forgiveness: How do you practice grace and forgiveness towards others who may have wronged you? How do you receive grace and forgiveness for your past actions?

  7. Testimony: The churches in Judea glorified God because of Paul’s testimony. How do you think sharing your personal story of faith could impact those around you? What role could your testimony play in your own spiritual journey?
