1. Making Room For

- Throughout scripture, we see a theme of making room for God -
And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. —Luke 2:7
We make room for the Lord through time in the word, worship and prayer. It’s an attitude of devotion - setting aside time; lingering.
There is a holy
When Jesus heard it, He departed from there by boat to a deserted place by Himself. —Matthew 14:13
Deserted = Lonesome, desert, desolate, solitary, wilderness. The wilderness is the place of God’s voice.

When we make room for God in our lives - intentional, set aside space, we learn to rest our hearts in His Presence.
I have set the Lord

Making room for God corresponds to our Love God component.
Making room for people corresponds to our Grow Together and Serve Others components.

Than the children of the married woman”, says the Lord.
