We don’t know what we don’t know.

Pride assumes it knows more than it actually knows.

1. What is salvation?

Philippians 2:12-13 NIV Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence — continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, 13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.

We don’t work FOR salvation. We work FROM salvation.

Quit trying to pay for what Jesus already bought you.

2. How do you get saved or experience salvation?

Romans 10:9-10 NIV If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

A. Saying Jesus is Lord

B. Believing in the resurrection

3. What do you do after salvation?

Salvation is the starting line not the stopping point.

Ephesians 4:15 NIV Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.
