God is a worker…

By the seventh day God had finished the work He had been doing, so on the seventh day He rested from all His work. And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it He rested from all the work of creating that He had done. (Gen. 2:2-3)

“My Father is always at His work to this very day, and I too, am working.” (John 5:17)

God created our work with dignity…

Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along ground.”(Gen. 1:26)

Working for – “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.” (Col. 3:23)

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. (1 Cor. 15:10)
