Unshakeable Faith: Unshakeable Me
Part of Unshakeable Faith
February 11, 2024

God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. (Romans 12:3 NKJV)

“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. (Mark 11:22-24 NIV)

And it is impossible to please God without faith. (Hebrews 11:6 NLT)

• Unshakeable faith comes from an unshakeable

with God.

• Faith

through a continued seeking of God.

… Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. (Hebrews 11:6 NLT)

• We must

He is the “Great I Am”.

• God is a rewarder when He is

sought.

• The result of seeking Him, is

to His instructions.

• Faith

out of continued obedience.

It was by faith that Abel brought a more acceptable offering to God than Cain did. Abel’s offering gave evidence that he was a righteous man, and God showed his approval of his gifts. Although Abel is long dead, he still speaks to us by his example of faith. (Hebrews 11:4 NLT)

David

I will meditate on Your precepts and contemplate Your ways (Psalm 119:15 NKJV)

How I love your instruction (Word)! It is my meditation all day long. (Psalm 119:97 CSB)

… “I have been taking care of my father’s sheep and goats,” he said. “When a lion or a bear comes to steal a lamb from the flock, I go after it with a club and rescue the lamb from its mouth. If the animal turns on me, I catch it by the jaw and club it to death. I have done this to both lions and bears…. (1 Samuel 17: 34-36 NLT)

• Unshakeable faith knows, “God is with me because He

me.”

… and I’ll do it to this pagan Philistine, too, for he has defied the armies of the living God! The LORD who rescued me from the claws of the lion and the bear will rescue me from this Philistine!” (1 Samuel 17: 36-37 NLT)

• Unshakeable faith is strengthened when we believe it’s not about

but about God.

David replied to the Philistine, “You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the LORD of Heaven’s Armies—the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. (1 Samuel 17:45 NLT)

• God does not see himself

from you.

Today the LORD will conquer you, and I will kill you and cut off your head. And then I will give the dead bodies of your men to the birds and wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel! (1 Samuel 17:46 NLT)

• Unshakeable faith

God’s Word.

Reaching into his shepherd’s bag and taking out a stone, he hurled it with his sling and hit the Philistine in the forehead. The stone sank in, and Goliath stumbled and fell face down on the ground. (1 Samuel 17:49 NLT)
