ADVENT READINGS: December 1st through December 31st we will be reading daily in “The Life of Jesus”. This is a chronological account of the life of Jesus from His birth, ministry, death, and ressurection told through the gospels. We will coordinate these reading in our daily online Bible study at lhcc.info/bible or we have printed copies at church you can follow along with. We encourage you if you can to visit the website and leave your thoughts and comments on the sections you read. There are plenty of copies of this book at the church and it makes a great gift to someone you have been sharing the Gospel with!

If you or someone you know is in this position please join or invite them to join this special time of hope and healing.

MONTHLY MISSION FOCUS: For the next couple of months the Mission team is asking us to pay particular attention to our missionaries, Pastor Francis & Benedict Avoyi. Pastor Franic ministers through Pioneers in Togo, West Africa. Their ministry brings clean water, medical care, and transportation to people in severly impoverished areas. They also spread the gospel, disciple new believers, and plant churches in those same areas. Pastor Francis and his family face many hardships in their work such as governmental resistance to Christianity, financial hardships and lack of provisions, and health concerns with a lower standard of healthcare where they live. We encourage you to learn more about them this month, support their work like the Team Togo and other efforts they have to raise funds and bring awareness to the people they minister to, but most of all PRAY for them!
MISSION PRAYER CORNER: Please be in prayer for John & Marion Andrews who serve in the Netherlands through Pioneers Arab World Ministries. Currently they are looking for prayer for 175 asylum seekers have been living on a boat in our city since October 2022. The rental contract is coming to an end and by the middle of January, the refugees living on the boat will be placed all over the Netherlands. Three brothers who come nearly every week to church and several women coming to the language class live on this boat and being moved around is difficult and they are hearing that asylum centers in the Netherlands are totally full. Please pray for God to provide permanent placements for these asylum seekers giving them stability.
