I. Friday: the day of
Then Jesus entered a house, and again a crowd gathered, so that he and his disciples were not even able to eat. 21 When his family heard about this, they went to take charge of him, for they said, “He is out of his mind.” —Mark 3:20-21
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. —Romans 8:28
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. —2 Corinthians 1:3-4
II. Saturday: the day of
Surely in vain I have kept my heart pure and have washed my hands in innocence. 14 All day long I have been afflicted, and every morning brings new punishments. —Psalm 73:13-14
When I tried to understand all this, it troubled me deeply 17 till I entered the sanctuary of God… —Psalm 73:16-17
But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge… —Psalm 73:28
III. Sunday: the day of
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die… —John 11:25
He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” —Revelation 21:5
