The Journey of an Ancient Patriarch
“A Man of Character” – those may be the best words to describe the ancient patriarch, Joseph. He was the son of Jacob; the great-grandson of Abraham; one of 12 brothers from 4 mothers. Still, God had a plan for Joseph’s life.
Today, we are going to begin a two-month journey with Joseph. It is a journey that begins in his father’s house, but soon finds Joseph in a pit, sold as a slave, thrown into prison, and rescued to lead a nation in difficult times. At each intersection of life, Joseph has a decision to make: “My will or God’s will?”
