WHAT’S HAPPENING AT EMMANUEL
May 25, 2025
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
July 14–18, 9:00am–12:00pm
We are so excited to invite you to Vacation Bible School at Emmanuel Church!
This year’s theme is “Magnified”—Made to Magnify God! Kids who have
completed Kindergarten through 5 grade are invited to discover the bigness
of God in the smallest of things through songs, crafts, games, lessons, and
more. The theme verse is Psalm 34:3: Proclaim the Lord’s greatness with me; let
us exalt His name together. Register your children or sign up to serve by using the Emmanuel app or at emmanuelchurch.tv/vbs. Invite your friends and neighbors!
GROWTH TRACK: BASES
Sunday, June 8, 6:00–8:00pm | Emmanuel Life Center

membership, spiritual maturity, serving in ministry, and spreading the good
news of Jesus through missions. If you’re new to Emmanuel, 1st Base is a
great opportunity to learn more about our church family! Sign up for your
next Base on your Connect Card.
BABY BOTTLE BLITZ
Now through Sunday, June 15
Your gift can change lives and save lives!
Now through Father’s Day, we are collecting financial gifts for Care Net
SoMD, a pregnancy center that ministers to women and families facing
unplanned pregnancies, and provides education, parenting support, and
practical assistance.
Pick up a baby bottle in the lobby and fill it with coins, cash,
and checks, or give online using the QR code, to make a
difference in our community!
GRADUATION SUNDAY IS JUNE 1
It’s almost time for our seniors to graduate!
On Sunday, June 1, during the 10:45am service, we will be honoring our
graduating seniors with a gift and a send-off prayer. Following the second
service, we will go out to lunch with our seniors, our Emmanuel Students
high school team, and any family members who want to join us.
If your senior is graduating, please scan the QR code or contact
Pastor Justin to provide us with their information and photos
for our slide show.
DISASTER RELIEF: WESTERNPORT FLOODING
Following recent rain in Westernport, Maryland, and the surrounding area,
over three hundred homes have been affected by flooding. Families have
been displaced and suffered loss of property and livelihood.
The Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware is mobilizing Disaster Relief
teams to assist with flood recovery in Westernport.
Week 1 will run May 25–31, Week 2 from June 1–7, and potentially
Week 3 from June 8–14. If you are a trained Disaster Relief volunteer
