How Do You Live for God in A Godless Culture?
1) Say No to Sin.
1 Peter 4:1
“Since therefore Christ suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves with the same way of thinking, for whoever has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,”
1 Peter 3:18, 22
“For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit, who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers having been subjected to him.”
“All sympathy and tenderness for Christ as a sufferer are lost if you do not put away sin. He dies to destroy it; and, though he could cheerfully submit to the worst sufferings, yet he could never submit to the least sin.” —Matthew Henry
2) Say Yes to Obeying God and His Will.
I Peter 4:2-3
“so as to live for the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for human passions but for the will of God. 3 For the time that is past suffices for doing what the Gentiles want to do, living in sensuality, passions, drunkenness, orgies, drinking parties, and lawless idolatry.”
Romans 12:2
“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”
3) Have A Broken Heart for Lost People.
1 Peter 4:4-6
“With respect to this they are surprised when you do not join them in the same flood of debauchery, and they malign you; but they will give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. For this is why the gospel was preached even to those who are dead, that though judged in the flesh the way people are, they might live in the spirit the way God does.”

4) Devote Yourself to Praying for The Culture.
1 Peter 4:7
“The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers.”
James 5:16
“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”
“Prayer replaces self-focus with a God-focus. It reminds us of who we are and – more importantly – who we are not” —Tony Evans
