Scripture: Luke 18:18-30

1. What is it? What is it not?
- It’s not what the world defines as success
- It is what Jesus defines as success

2. How do we enter it?

• Surrender everything that comes between you and following Jesus
• Become reliant on Christ and the power of God
• Accept the free gift that does not require your effort

3. What does this practically mean?

What it doesn’t mean: Poverty is good and making money is bad

What it means: Following Jesus will change your life. Which will mean giving up something. Which will require you to place your hope beyond this life to the life to come.
