
The word
(God’s called me) to present to you the word of God in its fullness—the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the saints. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. —2 Corinthians 3:18
The only mirror that accurately reflects the new creation is
If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things
have become new. —2 Corinthians 5:17
The person who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. —1 Corinthians 6:17
As we gaze intently at this new reality in Scripture of the new creation inside us, our new

Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. —James 1:23,24We look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal. —2 Corinthians 4:18
If we can

We are the circumcision (true people of God), who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh. —Philippians 3:3
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. —Matthew 5:3,4
So to keep me from becoming proud, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger from Satan to torment me and keep me from becoming proud. Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. Each time He said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong. —2 Corinthians 12:7-10
When troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. —James 1:2
Freedom and strength to overcome are born out of weakness and

Be filled with the Spirit; speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ… —Ephesians 5:18-20
