Read the story of David and Goliath in 1 Samuel 17.

When it comes to my problems,

makes all the difference.

“Who is this pagan Philistine that he should defy the armies (that belong to) the living God?” —1 Samuel 17:26
You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. —1 Corinthians 6:20

We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? —Romans 8:28,31

God sees my problems as an

for good.

“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” —Matthew 11:28

TALK/SING PSALMS TO GOD

The Lord is my strength and my song; He has become my salvation. —Psalm 118:14

You, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head. I cried aloud to the Lord, and He answered me from His holy hill. Selah I lay down and slept; I woke again, for the Lord sustained me. —Psalm 3:3-5
Lord, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth! You have set Your glory in the heavens. —Psalm 8:1

CONTEMPLATE CREATION

The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display His craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make Him known. —Psalm 19:1,2

SAY THE NAME OF JESUS

“You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This very day I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds and the wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel. All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give all of you into our hands.” —1 Samuel 17:45-47
