Thinking (Contemplation) - A life lived reading, memorizing, praying and re-flecting on God’s Word

Devotion (Holiness) - A life lived in intentional participation with the Holy Spirit

Tender-hearted (Compassion) - A life lived in the peace that Jesus gives, loving others as He has loved us.

Mender (Reconciliation) - A life lived as a messenger of reconciliation, living and proclaiming the Good News of God

If you are a Follower of Christ, you have the responsibility, in some way, to be a mender or reconciler. Living in this way produces fruit that proclaims the Good News of God.

We participate in Mending (Reconciliation) - in Our Faith Journey

And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. —1 Peter 5:10 NIV

Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. —Psalm 51:12 NIV

We Carry the Message of Jesus Christ - His Restoring Work

16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. —Colossians 3:16 NIV

You Cannot Give What You Do Not Have

We are Ministers of the Message of Mending and Reconciliation - This Message Flows Through Us

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come The old has gone, the new is here! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. —2 Corinthians 5:17-19 NIV

“Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland. —Isaiah 43:18-19 NIV

You cannot give what you do not have.

I am a Follower of Christ and I have the responsibility to be a Mender or Reconciler. As I live my life, surrendered to Christ, it is a testimony that produces fruit that proclaims the Good News of God.
