Growth Questions

These questions are to help you apply the weekend’s message to your life and to help others – like those in a Growth Group – do the same. Can being honest and vulnerable about your life be intimidating? Is it OK to struggle and have real questions? The answer to both questions is “Yes,” and that is why we have Growth Groups. 1. How satisfied are you with your current level of spiritual maturity? Where would you like to see yourself grow?
   

2. Read verse 12. What was God’s purpose in saving you, and how should this impact the way you run the Christian race?
   

3. Is there anything keeping you from pursuing Christ with all of your might? Career? Money? Comfort? Travel? Hobbies?
   

4. Consider verse 13. What are the things that “lie behind” that you need to forget? How can you practically do this?
