Tremendous Power ► Dominate ► Precious ► Without Faith My Prayer Won’t Work
Empower the believer with revelation concerning prayer and its power to impact life circumstances in order to stay constantly connected to God
Prayer – The Supernatural activity of communing with God, whereby I share my intimate thoughts and feelings and God shares His intimate thoughts and feelings and gives instructions to me.

Elijah was a man with human frailties, just like all of us, but he prayed and received supernatural answers. He actually shut the heavens over the land so there would be no rain for three and a half years! Then he prayed again and the skies opened up over the land so that the rain came again and produced the harvest. —James 5:17-18 (TPT)

Bring Faith to Life

1.

  • What moves mountains

Listen to the truth I speak to you: If someone says to this mountain with great faith and having no doubt, ‘Mountain, be lifted up and thrown into the midst of the sea, and believes that what he says will happen, it will be done. This is the reason I urge you to boldly believe for whatever you ask for in prayer—believe that you have received it and it will be yours. —Mark 11:23-24 (TPT)

Since we have this confidence, we can also have great boldness before him, for if we present any request agreeable to his will, he will hear us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we also know that we have obtained the requests we ask of him..” —1 John 5:14-15 (TPT)

  • How we move mountains
    • Allow God to identify our mountains (Commune)

Make God the utmost delight and pleasure of your life,
and he will provide for you what you desire the most—Psalm 37:4 (TPT)

But if you live in life-union with me and if my words live powerfully within you—then you can ask whatever you desire and it will be done. When your lives bear abundant fruit, you demonstrate that you are my mature disciples who glorify my Father! —John 15:7-8 (TPT)

    • Mountains respond to our deeper, more intimate faith
Moved mountains should be just some of the natural evidence (fruit) of our faith.

2.

Do more than believe; bring hope into reality

Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen. —Hebrews 11:1 (TPT)

You can believe all you want that there is one true God, that’s wonderful! But even the demons know this and tremble with fear before him, yet they’re unchanged—they remain demons. O feeble sons of Adam, do you need further evidence that faith divorced from good works is phony? Wasn’t our ancestor Abraham found righteous before God because of his works when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? Can’t you see how his action cooperated with his faith and by his action faith found its full expression? —James 2:19-22 (TPT)

3.

  • God is working all things for my good

So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into God’s perfect plan of bringing good into our lives, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose. —Romans 8:28 (TPT)

Jesus responded, “Why do you call me good? Only God is truly good.” —Mark 10:18 (TPT)

  • God has a perfect plan to bring himself to my life. He does not desire any mountain between me and Him.
