1. Read Romans 9:19-21
i. Who among you has resisted God’s will for your life? What did that look like? How have you seen God redeem your resistance or the resistance of others?

ii. Have you ever questioned how God formed you and what He’s allowed to happen to you?

2. Read Romans 9:22-24
i. Many have asked, “Why has Christ not yet returned?” How does this section help answer this question?

ii. In what ways have you seen “the riches of His glory?”

3. Read Romans 9:25-26; Hosea 1:2, 6-7, 9.
a. How do these passages help expand our idea of vessels for “honor” and “dishonor?”

b. What right does God have to ask Hosea to live such a life? How does this relate to us as believers?

c. Some will say that this request is “unfair.” How does the life of Christ help?

4. Romans 9:27-29
a. Among all the Jews, who will be saved? Why is this significant?

5. Read Roman 9:30-33
a. What does Paul reiterate in this section regarding salvation? Who is it for? How can we apply this truth to our witness to the world around us?
