Giving Manna
Deut 12:5-6
But you are to seek the place the Lord your God will choose from among all your tribes to put his Name there for his dwelling. To that place you must go; 6 there bring your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes and special gifts, what you have vowed to give and your freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks. NIV
A Little Can Become Gigantic
1 Cor 1:7
Now you have every grace and blessing; every spiritual gift and power for doing his will are yours during this time of waiting for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. LB
Mark 6:34-37
34 Jesus saw the huge crowd as he stepped from the boat, and he had compassion on them because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things. 35 Late in the afternoon his disciples came to him and said, “This is a remote place, and it’s already getting late. 36 Send the crowds away so they can go to the nearby farms and villages and buy something to eat.” 37 But Jesus said, “You feed them.” NLT
Every one of the 7 signs is preceded by great pressures, but they are followed by great blessings.
Recognize what you have. Don’t focus on what you don’t have. See that you already have what you need to fulfill your destiny. What looks ordinary, God can turn into the extraordinary.
1. Don’t look down on
things
John 6:7-9
7 Philip answered him, “Eight months’ wages would not buy enough bread for each one to have a bite!” 8 Another of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, spoke up, 9 “Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?”
Zech 4:10
10 Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand.” NLT
2. Rest in
for His
Mark 6:39-42
39 Then Jesus told the disciples to have the people sit down in groups on the green grass. 40 So they sat down in groups of fifty or a hundred. 41 Jesus took the five loaves and two fish, looked up toward heaven, and blessed them. Then, breaking the loaves into pieces, he kept giving the bread to the disciples so they could distribute it to the people. He also divided the fish for everyone to share. 42 They all ate as much as they wanted. NLT
Rest is not inactivity but directed activity.
Set big goals and clear plans with Him.
John 14:12
… will do even greater things than these.
Greater work, greater wholeness, greater undertakings, greater enterprise, greater production, greater performance.
Set big goals: Big enough to require faith & inspire people.
Prov 21:5
5 The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty.
Clear ideas, plans and practical steps to fulfill the goals. As you act on it, you will see miracles.
3. Bring what we have to Him with
Matt 14:16-18
16 But Jesus said to them, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.” 17 And they said to Him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.” 18 He said, “Bring them here to Me.” NKJV
