B- Begin with Prayer
2 TRUTHS FROM THE LIFE OF JESUS
1) PLACE IS
“God has led you to the neighborhood you live in right now. He’s placed you in the family you’re in. He has strategically placed you in the job or career that you’re in. The ballfields, the gym, the dance studio, the football bleachers, the band parents, – these are your neighbors – they are the people that God has placed in your path. Wherever you live work and play - it’s all connected to the mission and purpose that God has for your life – it’s where He’s placed you to live out the mission of Jesus.” —Brian Bloye
When Jesus had spoken these words, he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son that the Son may glorify you, —John 17:1
since you have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him. And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. I glorified you on earth, having accomplished the work that you gave me to do. And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed. —John 17:2-5
“I have manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world. Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word. —John 17:6
Now they know that everything that you have given me is from you. For I have given them the words that you gave me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that I came from you; and they have believed that you sent me. —John 17:7-8
As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world.
—John 17:18
2) PEOPLE ARE THE
And there was a woman who had had a discharge of blood for twelve years, and who had suffered much under many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was no better but rather grew worse. She had heard the reports about Jesus and came up behind him in the crowd and touched his garment. For she said, “If I touch even his garments, I will be made well.” —Mark 5:25-28
And Jesus, perceiving in himself that power had gone out from him, immediately turned about in the crowd and said, “Who touched my garments?” And his disciples said to him, “You see the crowd pressing around you, and yet you say, ‘Who touched me?’” —Mark 5:30-31
And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease.” —Mark 5:34
