A Call to Abide!
Read John 15:4-11
This is no small thing: Jesus says that Abiding in Him is the fountainhead of obedience, fruitfulness, living lives that bring glory to God—that without obedience we cannot do anything of eternal value and instead will be subject to eternal consequences—but that in abiding in Jesus and His love, we will experience the fullness of Joy!
What It Means To Abide

The question is not do you have an animated center? It’s what or who is it? And is it giving you life and is it forming you into the kind of person that you most deeply desire to become? —John Mark Comer
Other Scriptures: Psalm 16:11
Take Time To Reflect
In our world, do we tend to honor those who busy themselves like Martha or those who slow down, stop, and sit at the feet of Jesus like Mary? Why?
What does it / would it look like for you to prioritize being WITH Jesus before doing FOR Jesus?
Flowing out of an internal life marked by being with Jesus, how might you invest your time, talent, and treasures in others to build out spaces and places where they can experience the same? How can you do this at MVC?
