YEAR OF THE WIND - SERMON 1
THE WIND OF THE SPIRIT IS MOVING… THIS IS A YEAR LIKE NONE OTHER…
NOT ONLY IS THERE A CHANGE OF YEAR -
BUT FOR MANY A CHANGE OF CONNECTION BETWEEN HEAVEN AND EARTH…
THE HOLY SPIRIT TOLD ME IN AUGUST OF LAST YEAR -
“my people are too sensitive and not sensitive enough…”
…. then again…
THEY ARE SO SENSITIVE IN THEIR EMOTIONS
~ AND HAVE FORGOTTEN TO BE SENSITIVE IN SPIRIT.
THIS YEAR YOU ARE GOING TO SEE SOME THINGS WITH THE SPIRIT that you cannot see with your senses.

Galatians 4:1 - 5 NLT
1 Think of it this way. If a father dies and leaves an inheritance for his young children, those children are not much better off than slaves until they grow up, even though they actually own everything their father had.
2 They have to obey their guardians until they reach whatever age their father set.
3 And that’s the way it was with us before Christ came. We were like children; we were slaves to the basic spiritual principles[a] of this world.
4 But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law.
5 God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children.
ACCORDING TO PAUL THE immature person IS CONSTANTLY ASKING:
- “Am I allowed to do this?”
- “Can I say this?”
- “Am I the right person to pray for them?”
- “Is this the right time?”
- “What can I do and what can’t I do?”
1 John 2:27 NLT
27 But you have received the Holy Spirit,[h] and he lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit[i] teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true—it is not a lie. So just as he has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ.
MY GOAL IS TO BE SO MATURE THAT I RELEASE OTHERS INTO A MATURITY.
~ I AM NOT CALLED TO BE THE FATHER OF THE HOUSE…
~ I AM CALLED TO BE A FATHER IN A HOUSE OF FATHERS AND MOTHERS!
Maturity has nothing to do with age…
SPIRITUAL MATURITY HAS TO DO WITH YOU OBEYING THE VOICE AND PULL OF GOD QUICKLY.
SCRIPTURALLY - maturity does not mean… You do not make mistakes.
Maturity is seen this way:
- ARE YOU MORE SENSITIVE TO THE HOLY GHOST THAN OTHERS
- ARE YOU MORE SENSITIVE TO THE HOLY GHOST THAN YOUR OPINIONS
- ARE YOU MORE SENSITIVE TO THE HOLY GHOST THAN WHAT YOUR FRIENDS THINK
- ARE YOU QUICK TO FOLLOW WHAT HE SAYS
The Holy Spirit then said -
“My children are about to embark on a journey to learn how to live under My governing authority…
THINGS ARE MOVING FASTER
OPPORTUNITIES QUICKER
CHANGE MORE FREQUENT…
Human eyes are recovering the supernatural courage…
- that if God says it, do it,
- if God says to move,
- if God says to speak
THAT IS ENOUGH!
THIS WILL BE A YEAR…
- that the Holy Spirit will move quickly, suddenly, and unexpectedly.
- that the Holy Spirit accelerates His plans and rewards.
- of financial shifts
- of suddenly miracles
- of moves of the spirit unlike you have experienced OR walked in before.
- of God dreams fulfilled.
2024 for FAITH4LIFE is THE YEAR OF THE WIND!!
John 3:8
8 The wind blows where it wills, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know whence it comes or whither it goes; so it is with every one who is born of the Spirit
BORN AGAIN BELIEVERS are called to be ready to follow when you don’t see it coming!
or
“Don’t know where it comes from or where this is going”
PEOPLE OF THE WIND ONLY WANT TO BE LIVING IN A WAY THAT THEY ARE FLOWING WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT.
You cannot follow the wind if you are following people.
Acts 2:1 - 3 KJV
1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
WE ALL LOVE SUDDENLIES BY THE HOLY GHOST - BUT WE USUALLY POSITION OURSELVES FOR “EVENTUALLY”
GOD IS RAISING UP SOME WINDWALKERS…
HE IS RAISING UP PEOPLE WHO WILL
- MOVE WITH THE WIND
- ACT WITH THE WIND
- FLOW WITH THE WIND…
FOUR THINGS THE WIND IS GOING TO LEAD YOU TO DO IN 2024
1. THE WIND BRINGS
THERE IS LIFE IN THE
This world cannot exist without winds.
Genesis 1:1 - 2 KJV
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Hebrew word for Holy Spirit = ROO-ACH - and is mostly translated as WIND.
Genesis 2:7 KJV
7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
The spirit of man was given by the Holy Spirit… the ROO-ACH - the wind.
1 Corinthians 15:45 KJV
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
((Quickening spirit)) - means that HE made OTHERS alive!
- First Adam spoke - and things obeyed…
- SECOND ADAM SPOKE AND THINGS HAD LIFE!
You are called to breathe life into dead things this year. You are life givers.
SPEAK LIFE INTO THE MOMENT AS THE HOLY SPIRIT DIRECTS YOU!
John 7:38
38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
WHEN THE WIND MOVES - THE RIVERS CHANGE THE COURSE OF THINGS…
WIND AND WATER CHANGES THE EARTH’S SURFACE EVERY YEAR….
Being led by the wind means that you have to be willing to ACT IMMEDIATELY when He says.
Ezekiel 37:1 - 9
1 The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,
2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.
3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest.
4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.
5 Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:
6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.
9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
EZEKIEL IS THERE DURING A MOMENT OF THE WIND!
2. THE WIND BRINGS
John 20:21 - 22
21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
Acts 10:38
38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Acts 1:8
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
PRACTICAL STEPS:
- anywhere that there is death, destruction or frustration YOU SHOULD LOOK FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO BRING POWER!
Daniel 7:2
2 Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.
THE 4 WINDS ARE THE HOLY SPIRIT CHURNING THINGS…
The great sea = the world’s way and world’s system…
It is the course of life going on as we know it…it is normal, it is natural….
GOD IS USING THE WIND OF THE SPIRIT TO MOVE UPON PEOPLE TO CHANGE THE COURSE OF WHAT THE WORLD IS TRYING TO DO!
3. THE WIND BRINGS
There is a reason why the Holy Spirit is also known as the spirit of joy!
Psalm 16:11
11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
Nehemiah 8:10
10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.
Job 5:22
22 At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth.

THE WIND BRINGS LIFE and THERE IS LIFE IN THE WIND
THE WIND BRINGS POWER
THE WIND BRINGS JOY
WE ARE PEOPLE OF THE WIND!!
