Emotions: Pride

  1. God wants us to know the

    between good pride and bad.

  7. Solomon says that pride is NOT BOASTFUL or SELF-CENTERED, but a feeling of

    for our achievements, as we give God the credit!

  8. Having a proper

    of ourselves - instead of comparing ourselves amongst ourselves - is a good pride.

  9. The Devil tries to get us to

    with one another in an attempt to destroy our communion and community!

  10. God’s desire is that we feel

    about ourselves and our achievements. He also wants us to the life and gifts He has given us for our good, as well as for others’, and in these things we can be proud.

  11. Sinful pride is self-centered and arrogant which causes

    to take credit for our gifts, callings, and achievements.

  12. Sinful pride exalts only

    , and causes us to believe that we do not need for anything.

  13. Sinful pride causes us to turn

    from God and have the same experience as those in Romans 1 when God tuned His back on them.

  14. Sinful pride is the idolatrous worship of

    , which results in arrogance and conceit, causing one to be of others.

  15. In order to enjoy Good Pride and resist Bad Pride, we must possess a
