1. Think of a piece of “how to ruin a relationship” advice. What might be some possible godly alternatives?

2. Recall a time when someone built you up with his/her words. Why was it so impactful?

3. What is the characteristic of Ephesians 4:25–32 that you are most enthusiastic about putting into practice? What’s the one you are least enthusiastic about?

4. When you think of the amazing act of forgiveness that God has shown to you, how could you allow that to flow into your difficult and messy relationships? It might not make it easier, but do you think it can help?
