2 Corinthians 13:5

Examine yourselves to see if your faith is genuine. Test yourselves. Surely you know that Jesus Christ is among you; if not, you have failed the test of genuine faith.

Luke 6:45

“A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.”

Matthew 7:20

“… just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions.”

The word “MANIFEST” as we see it in the Bible means to “make

known, to make visible, to distinctly or to display.”

James 1:22-26

But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like.

Hebrews 4:12-13
For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable.”

We’re not looking for

we’re looking for our walk with God.

Galatians 5:13

For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love.

1. Liberated, absolutely

.

To be LIBERATED (set free) simply means to no longer be subjected to the control or domination of something or someone

We are all

of sin (failing to meet the divine standard, the boundary between good and evil).

We are in

(enslaved) to sin of which the penalty is death.

Because of sin we are under the

of God.**

Romans 3:23-26 (Emphasis Added)

For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, FREELY MAKES US RIGHT in His sight (justified). He did this through Christ Jesus when he FREED US FROM THE PENALTY for our sins (redeemed). For God presented Jesus as the SACRIFICE FOR SIN (atonement). People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past, for he was looking ahead and including them in what he would do in this present time. God did this to demonstrate his righteousness, for he himself is fair and just, and he makes sinners right in his sight when they believe in Jesus.

In Him we are

- the establishment of a person as just by acquittal from guilt - solves the problem of our GUILT.

In Him we are

- denotes "to buy out", especially of purchasing a slave with a view to his freedom - solves the problem of being in BONDAGE.

By His

for Sin (atonement) – to appease by substitution - solves the problem of being under the WRATH of God.

2.Jesus does not liberate us from the bondage of sin and death just for us to continue to live in the

of sin and wickedness.

2 Peter 2:22

Of them the proverbs are true: “A dog returns to its vomit,” and, “A sow that is washed returns to her wallowing in the mud.”

freedom can’t exist without .

Jesus doesn’t just liberate us

something but just as importantly liberates us something.

3.Jesus liberates us to

and to according to His definition.

1 Corinthians 13:4-6

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.”

Only as we experience God’s LOVE, ACCEPTANCE, and FORGIVENESS over and over again are we free to engage Him at a deep heart level without fear of rejection or pain. Only as we experience the pure AGAPE love of God can we be free to love other people in that same capacity.
