Questions for Further Discussion:

  1. Jesus’ resurrection makes possible our salvation, which is the beginning of our ‘resurrection story’. Take some time as a Group and share with one another how and when your ‘resurrection story’ of coming to faith in Jesus began.

  2. 1 Corinthians 15 tells us that there is a future resurrection ahead. For those in Christ, our resurrection will mean eternity with Him. What do you know and/or believe about the promise of future resurrection? Does this differ from what you believe or were taught growing up?

  3. The Scriptures teach that eternity will begin when Jesus returns and all things are made new; when all that has been lost and destroyed by sin will be made new and whole again. How does thinking about this future cause you to hope?

  4. What is one question about Jesus’ resurrection, your future resurrection, or eternity with Jesus that you would most like to have an answer to and why?

  5. Spend some time as a Group praying for one another, specifically that our hearts would be encouraged in our hope in Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection and all that it means for us today, tomorrow, and eternity.
