Sermon Title: God’s Evangelistic Heart
Scripture: Jonah 1:1-3, 17, 3:1-5, 3:10-4:11

Main Idea: God has overwhelming concern and compassion for lost souls. We should too.

Exposition:
- The Calling of God (Jonah 1:1-3, 17)
- The Mercy of God (Jonah 2:10-3:5, 10)
- The Patience of God (Jonah 4)

Application:
- We are called to go to our neighbors with the gospel
- We are called to desire repentance of our neighbors
- We are called to be patient with our neighbors

God’s not calling us to be like Jonah, but like Jesus the true Jonah, who not only preached to his enemies but died for them.

Conclusion:
God is calling us here, at EBCC, to engage our family, friends, and neighbors with the gospel.
