Sermon Notes:
Our “Living in Grace” series follows the sections in our devotional as we approach Easter. Today’s message reminds us that God sees us. Genesis 16 records Hagar, during her distress, stating, “You are a God of seeing.” He sees each of us, too, and His sight holds vision for our future.

Go Deeper
Read Genesis 16 with a friend this week and discuss these questions together.
1. Reflect on a time when you felt overlooked. How can this perspective change how you view others who feel the same?
2. What are some promises of God that we struggle to believe or hold onto when life gets difficult?
3. In what ways do we tend to run away from our struggles like Hagar did?
4. How have you seen God work through negative experiences to bring positive results?
5. Where do you need to trust God’s plan right now?
