
I Thought That God Wouldn’t Give Me More Than I Can Handle

Main Point: God may give us more than we can handle on our own because he wants us to trust in him.

God has a history of putting his people in situations where we have no choice but to rely on him.
The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all. —Psalm 34:19
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” —John 16:33
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. —1 John 4:4

Trust that God will help you overcome the hardest parts of your life and that he will meet you in the mess and in the pain.
