Summary: Questions abound in the middle of a story. While Jesus answers some of the questions we have, he calls us to trust him as he leads us through the story he is writing. Listen in as Peter explains how Jesus led the disciples through his death and resurrection, and how he will lead us through.

Read Scripture: John 16:16-24
- Tell the group about a time in your life where you wished you had the benefit of hindsight before something happened.
- What questions does God’s extensive knowledge stir up in you?
- Read v16. Is God’s extensive knowledge good news to you? Why/why not?
- We are all in the middle of a story where questions abound. What kinds of questions do you have about what is happening around you at the moment?
- Where do you go/what do you tend to do to find certainty?
- Read v23. What does it mean to find certainty through trusting in Jesus? How easy/hard is it?
- Read v22. Can you think of a time when Jesus saw you and held you when you couldn’t see him? If so, share it with the group.
- Read 1 Corinthians 13:12 and dream together about what this day will be like?
