ICEBREAKER
This is the last week to check in on SERVE Day. Each year our church spreads out all over the community to share the love of God through practical acts of kindness. This year we are not hosting church services on March 23-24 to see the whole church participate in a SERVE Day project.

VIDEO NOTES
THE GREAT COMMANDMENT
Jesus: “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment.
A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:37-40 NLT
THE GREAT COMMISSION
Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 NLT
So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Don’t act thoughtlessly but understand what the Lord wants you to do. Ephesians 5:15-17 NLT
In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for special purposes and some for common use. Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work. 2 Timothy 2:20-21 NIV
What Does God Want Me To Do With The Rest of My Life?
1) God wants me to center my life around Him
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart…”
I am aligned to God’s will when I
2) God wants me to connect with other believers
“Baptize them in the name of the Father and the Son and Holy Spirit…”
I am aligned to God’s will when I
3) God wants me to cultivate spiritual maturity
“Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you…”
I am aligned to God’s will when I
4) God wants me to contribute something back
“Love your neighbor as yourself…”
I am aligned to God’s will when I
5) God wants me to communicate His message
“Go and make disciples of all the nations…”
I am aligned to God’s will when I
As God’s partners, we beg you not to accept this marvelous gift of God’s kindness and then ignore it. 2 Corinthians 6:1 NLT
Communion With God’s Family
1 Corinthians 11:23-28 NIV
Communion is a
The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread…
Communion is a
And when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.”
Communion is a
In the same way… he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood… drink it, in remembrance of me.”
Communion is a
For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.
So then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. Everyone ought to examine themselves before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup.

Easter weekend we begin a new sermon series, OVERHEARD Conversations with Jesus.
This series will invite us to listen in on different conversations people had with Jesus in the Gospels. A doubting disciple, a Roman Centurion, a sick person, a rich man, a regular joe, a tax collector… Through these conversations we’ll discover what Jesus might be saying to you.
We’ll have Talk-It-Over-Notes available throughout the series. Those can help your group if you’re looking for something to continue studying together.
PRAYER & SUPPORT
Ask how you can pray for and support one another this week.
Consider closing your prayer time reading Psalm chapter 139. We’ve include the first six verses here:
PSALM 139
1 O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me.
2 You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.
3 You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do.
4 You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord.
5 You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!
